I've got an essay in today's New York Daily News, discussing the origins of my novel as they relate to the great borough of Brooklyn. I also talk about three of my favorite New York novels, which runs as a sidebar in the online version. There's also a nice review of my book in the paper, though for some reason that has not appeared online. I'll post a link when and if it does.
