Books don't have soundtracks, of course. But my novel has one, to me at least, which is alluded to in various ways over the course of the book. Here it is, by song, artist and album:
1) "Between the Bars," Elliott Smith, Either/Or
2) "Turn it On," Sleater-Kinney, Dig Me Out
3) "Kilo," Ghostface Killah, Fishscale
4) "Testify," Common, Be
5) "Public Service Announcement," Jay-Z, The Black Album
6) "You're Nobody ('Till Somebody Kills You)," Notorious B.I.G., Life After Death
7) "Visions of Johanna," Bob Dylan, Blonde on Blonde
8) "Back on the Chain Gang," The Pretenders, Learning to Crawl
9) "The Guns of Brixton," The Clash, London Calling
10) "High on Sunday 51," Aimee Mann, Lost in Space
11) "Between the Bars," Madeline Peyroux, Careless Love
I love soundtracking, yes I just made that a verb, we make lots of soundtracks in some of my circles, so it tickles me pink that you have a soundtrack for your book. Whoa, hello run-on sentence.
